Since 2013, I have been writing an allegorical story entitled The Child and The Prophet. I will continue with this story. It addresses the challenges we face in life.
The main characters are The Child and The Prophet. It is The Child’s journey. She faces many obstacles but she also meets new and old friends that help her complete her journey. Accompanied by an eagle, whale, raccoon and The Prophet, The Child’s home is a lily pad as well as the water she learns to walk upon.
I plan to end the story with this year's challenge, and it will be published.

Wow, what an accomplishment. You've truly taken your story on quite the adventure. I haven't read all of it, so I hope that I will still be able to offer you something in the comment section anyway. I'm looking forward to reading the sections this year. I wish I had known about this from the beginning. Best of luck on completing your story and getting it published. You wll have put years of work into it and must be proud of all your hard work and effort.
ReplyDeleteIf you visit my theme reveal I hope you won't give up on me. I'm on the tail end of a blog makeover and my blog is loading really slow, but the design company assured me it will be working properly in time for the challenge, and probably by midday today. Thanks. I'm looking forward to reading your posts.
Thank you Melissa. I have found your blog and look forward to reading more posts by you.

Hi Pat. What a great idea. I'll be around every so often to read your posts. I won't be participating in the A-Z except as a reader. I will be travelling in April and doing a NaNoWriMo-type of writing challenge the rest of the month.

sniff! I don't know whether to laugh in jubilation at the book or cry. I have loved watching child grow over the years. The book means child is...? I really excited for you, Pat! One more week until giddy up and go time!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to A to Z 2016!
Thank you my dear Liz. I have just taken the opportunity to get caught up with my blog correspondence after submitting my last chapters to my writing coach/book editor for my book. Hope you are doing fine. Yes, it is sad but also a happy occasion and I look forward to ending the Challenge with a bang.
DeleteShalom,
Patricia
As do I! YAY!! Good for you on the submission. I can't wait to hear about the final outcome.
DeleteI was at a writing bootcamp yesterday. The most exciting moment was when my husband, who hardly ever reads, let alone thinks about putting a pen to paper, actually started a blueprint for a book! It was enough to beat my chest and announce it to the world. lol
Anyway, I look forward to hear about your progress. I am pumped to read the final month of journey and soul searching presented by the Child, Prophet and friends. Hugs!
I can't wait to read more about the Prophet and the Child...and the Raccoon of course! I have enjoyed this each year and will miss it after this year. I am anxious to see how you end it. What a journey they have been on each April! I am also ready to see it get published so many people can enjoy it! A good artist could have fun with this book!
ReplyDeleteSis, there are so many challenges before me in making The Child and The Prophet a book that will win the hearts of readers and I look forward to it.
DeleteThank you for coming by.
Shalom,
Patricia

Your theme sounds very true, that change is needed in life. Best of luck to you in your journey to publication.
