It is IWSG Time!
IWSG is a writers' support group created and led by Alex Cavanaugh.
Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It's a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds!

Submissions: I was finally able to participate in the WEP again. Due to working on two manuscripts, I didn't have the time. It was great to be back and even more of an honor when I was notified that I had won. The authors that write for the WEP are outstanding, and the competition is always stiff and challenging. It is open to all, so come join us.
TACKLING THE GENRE THAT WOULD BE THE WORST FOR ME TO TACKLE
Undoubtedly, the Horror genre would be the worst for me to tackle. I have read five or six good authors that write excellent horror stories, and I've had severe traumatic experiences each time. My psyche reacts to what I read, and it takes me days to overcome it. So, I don't try to write horror because I have too much respect for the authors of this genre than to miswrite something that even I wouldn't want to read.
